In June 2013, George was named as the new face and spokesmodel for Buffalo denim's fall line. He starred in the campaign opposite Sports illustrated swimsuit model, Hannah Davis. In November 2013, he did an underwear campaign for Buffalo again.

Maximillian Albert George, born on September 6, 1988, in Swinton, Greater Manchester, England, initially pursued a career in football with Preston North End. An injury led him to shift his focus to music. George’s early music career began in 2005 when he joined the four-piece boy band Avenue. The band participated in The X Factor in 2006 but was disqualified due to an existing management contract. Despite this, Avenue released their debut single “Last Goodbye” in 2008, which reached number 50 on the UK Singles Chart, followed by “Can You Feel It?” The group disbanded in 2009.
In 2009, George was selected as one of five members for the newly formed boy band, The Wanted, following a mass audition. The band, consisting of George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker, and Jay McGuiness, quickly achieved success. Their debut single, “All Time Low,” released on July 25, 2010, hit number one on the UK Singles Chart. Subsequent singles like “Heart Vacancy” (number two in the UK) and “Lose My Mind” further solidified their presence in the music industry. The Wanted gained international recognition, including a reality series on E! titled *The Wanted Life* in 2013, which aired for one season. The band announced a break in January 2014, by which time George had contributed to over 12 million record sales worldwide as a member.
Following The Wanted’s hiatus, Max George embarked on a solo career, signing with Scooter Braun in January 2014. He released his first solo single, “Barcelona,” on July 3, 2018, accumulating over 4.5 million streams on Spotify. His second single, “Better On Me,” followed on May 24, 2019. Beyond music, George has extended his career into acting and television, taking elocution classes in 2014 to refine his acting skills. He appeared in the sixth season of the American television series *Glee* as Clint, the leader of “Vocal Adrenaline,” making his first appearance on January 9, 2015. He also participated in reality television, including *Strictly Come Dancing* in 2020, *The Games* in 2022, and *Scared of the Dark* in 2023. In December 2024, George underwent heart-block surgery and was fitted with a pacemaker.
