Michelle Wright transitioned from playing in Canadian clubs to becoming an award-winning country superstar, now co-headlining tours and releasing new music. After extensive performing six nights a week in clubs across Canada, Michelle Wright signed a record deal with Savannah Records in 1985. Her debut single, ‘I Want to Count on You,’ released in 1986, reached No. 48 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart.
She continued to release new music, including the single ‘Another Good Day’ in 2012, and the album ‘Strong’ in 2013, which featured the single ‘Strong.’ In 2018, Wright signed with Navigator Records and released singles ‘Lovin’ This Day’ and ‘Attitude Is Everything.’ She followed this with the release of ‘Silver Bells’ and a ‘A Wright Christmas: 2019’ tour in 2019, culminating in the release of her latest album, ‘Milestone,’ in 2022.
