Peter Frampton is an English-American guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for his significant contributions as a solo artist and as a member of rock bands The Herd and Humble Pie, transitioning from a teen idol to a Grammy Award-winning musician and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. After his landmark 1976 live album Frampton Comes Alive! achieved massive commercial success, Peter Frampton solidified his status as a rock icon. Certified 8x Platinum by the RIAA and becoming the top-selling album of 1976, it launched hit singles ‘Show Me the Way,’ ‘Baby, I Love Your Way,’ and ‘Do You Feel Like We Do.’ Frampton’s career began in 1966 with The Herd, earning him ‘The Face of 1968’ moniker, then co-founding Humble Pie in 1969 with Steve Marriott.

His commitment to music was recognized with an induction into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2016. In 2019, Frampton announced retirement from extensive touring due to a progressive muscle disorder, commencing the ‘Peter Frampton FinaleThe Farewell Tour.’ That same year, his album All Blues debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart. Frampton released his memoir, Do You Feel Like I Do?, in 2020, followed by the album Frampton Forgets the Words in 2021.
