Poppy

Poppy is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and YouTuber known for her experimental artistry traversing pop, metal, and industrial genres. After launching her YouTube channel in October 2011 to showcase her experimental artistry, Poppy went on to establish a distinctive digital presence with director Titanic Sinclair, creating abstract performance art videos that captivated audiences and garnered millions of views, beginning with her first skit, ‘Poppy Eats Cotton Candy,’ uploaded in November 2014. In 2014, she signed with Island Records, releasing her debut single ‘Everybody Wants to Be Poppy’ in June 2015, followed by her debut extended play, Bubblebath, in 2016. That same year, she released the ambient music album 3:36 (Music to Sleep To) in October and became the face of Sanrio’s inaugural ‘Hello Sanrio’ collection in November.

In October 2024, she launched the web series Improbably Poppy, showcasing her innovative creative vision. Poppy’s sixth studio album, Negative Spaces, was released on November 15, 2024, demonstrating her continued critical resurgence and artistic boundary-pushing.
