Following this event, he went on to develop a career with several eminent collaborations including Craig David (‘Woman Trouble’), Victoria Beckham (‘I Wish I’), Gerideau (‘Who’s The Better Man’), Shola Ama (‘I’m Yours’) and many more.
The huge European success hit ‘Woman Trouble’ gained Robbie recognition from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters as the Ivor Novello Award winner for Best Song, which was a true reflection of his song writing talent and his contribution as a creative source within the music industry. Furthermore, the single also earned Robbie the Dance Star Award for Best Song and was also included in the triple-platinum selling soundtrack to the highest grossing British film in history Bridget Jones’s Diary. Robbie Craig’s first solo album Soul Alchemy, artistically produced and co-written by Vezio Bacci (Bacci Bros. Productions), has great energy and made a big impact. Its smooth character allowed Robbie to display his superb vocals at their simplest and best. With a talent like his, there is no need to stick to any one formula.
