Yusuf Güney

Yusuf Güney, born on June 5, 1984, in Trabzon, Turkey, has become a prominent figure in the Turkish and Arabic pop music scenes. He currently resides in London. His career gained substantial momentum in 2008 following a collaboration with Rafet El Roman. Their song, “Aşk-ı Virane,” achieved considerable success, spending 16 weeks at number one on the Turkish charts in 2008 and being recognized as “Song of the Year” at the Turkey Music Awards in 2009. This early achievement set the foundation for his subsequent musical endeavors.

Following the success of “Aşk-ı Virane,” Güney released his debut album, “Bir Sevda Masalı,” on February 12, 2009, produced by Rafet El Roman under the Emre Plak label. This album featured popular singles such as “Heder Oldum Aşkına,” which reached number two on Turkey’s official music charts and 99th on the Europe Radio List. Another track from the album, “Aşkım Aşklarından Bulasın,” peaked at number six in Turkey. He continued his progression with his second album, “Aşka İnat,” released on May 3, 2010, which included 10 songs and further solidified his standing in the music industry. His discography also includes albums like “Sevgi Arsızı” (2013) and “Kaptan” (2016), along with various EPs and singles.
