Abby Dahlkemper

Abigail Lynn Dahlkemper is an accomplished American professional soccer player, currently playing as a center back for Bay FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team. Dahlkemper’s collegiate career at UCLA was marked by significant achievements, including winning the NCAA championship in 2013 and receiving the prestigious Honda Sports Award in 2014. Her talent was recognized early on when she was selected as the third overall pick by the Western New York Flash in the 2015 NWSL College Draft, where she clinched her first NWSL Championship in 2016.

After the Flash’s relocation, Dahlkemper continued to shine with the North Carolina Courage, where she was voted NWSL Defender of the Year in 2017. Her contributions were pivotal in leading the Courage to consecutive league titles in 2018 and 2019, during which the team set a record for fewest goals conceded.
