Abigail Dent

Olympic silver medalist and Pan American Games champion Abigail Dent secured her first significant international recognition in 2017, earning a bronze medal in the women’s quad sculls at the Canada Summer Games for Team Manitoba. Her early talent continued to shine the following year, 2018, as she won two gold medals at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in both the junior women’s single sculls and the U19 women’s double sculls. Dent represented Canada internationally at the 2019 World Rowing Junior Championships in Tokyo, where she placed sixth in the single sculls. Concurrently, Dent enrolled at the University of Michigan, pursuing a major in Economics and a minor in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, balancing rigorous academics with elite athletic development.
