Addy Miller has transitioned from a child actor known for early, impactful roles to a university student pursuing communications while continuing her acting career. After gaining widespread recognition for her pivotal role as the Little Girl/Teddy Bear Walker in the opening scene of AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ (2010), Addy Miller went on to become an ‘Instant Horror Legend.’ Miller performed her own stunts for the role, working under the specific direction of Frank Darabont and collaborating with renowned special effects artist Greg Nicotero, alongside co-stars Andrew Lincoln and Sarah Wayne Callies. Her character was later officially named ‘Summer’ in The Walking Dead Social Game on Facebook. Miller earned an early significant role portraying Young Lily in the acclaimed film ‘The Secret Life of Bees’ (2008).
Currently, Miller is an active student at North Carolina State University, pursuing a degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and planning a minor in Journalism.
