Affion Crockett

Born on August 12, 1974, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Affion Crockett is a multi-talented American entertainer. He spent his early life as a U.S. Army brat, growing up in Germany and Fayetteville. Crockett later earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Fayetteville State University. His career trajectory showcases a dynamic presence in entertainment, spanning acting, comedy, writing, and music production. He first gained wider recognition with an appearance on HBO’s ‘Def Comedy Jam’ in 1996, where he demonstrated his impressions and physical comedy.

Crockett’s career is marked by diverse acting roles. He was a cast member on ‘Wild ‘n Out’ from 2005 to 2018, showcasing his comedic improvisation skills. In film, he has appeared in comedies such as ‘Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins’ (2008) alongside Martin Lawrence, ‘Soul Men’ (2008) with Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac, and ‘Dance Flick’ (2009). He also co-starred in ‘A Haunted House 1 & 2’ (2013, 2014) with Marlon Wayans, ‘The Wedding Ringer’ (2015) with Kevin Hart, and ‘Pixels’ (2015) alongside Adam Sandler. He also developed and executive produced the TV series ‘Affion Crockett Presents: Microphone Masters’ (2024).
