Affion Crockett first gained wider recognition with an appearance on HBOs ‘Def Comedy Jam’ in 1996, where he showcased his dynamic impressions and physical comedy. This breakthrough led to a significant run as a cast member on ‘Wild ‘n Out’ from 2005 to 2018, demonstrating his comedic improvisation skills across multiple seasons. Crockett quickly expanded his presence into film, co-starring in comedies such as ‘Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins’ (2008) alongside Martin Lawrence, ‘Soul Men’ (2008) with Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac, and ‘Dance Flick’ (2009).

Further showcasing his producing and hosting talents, he developed and executive produced the TV series ‘Affion Crockett Presents: Microphone Masters.’ Additionally, he is set to appear in the highly anticipated film ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ in 2024, reinforcing his enduring presence in major studio productions.
