A’Keria Chanel Davenport

The glamorous drag queen A’Keria Chanel Davenport is the stage name of Gregory D’Wayne. She is best known for appearing on the eleventh season of the hit reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race, and on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. She won Miss Black Universe in 2017, and was named by Dallas Voice as a Texan of the Year in 2019.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, D’Wayne started competing in drag pageants as A’Keria Chanel Davenport in 2011. Hugely popular and successful, she has won five titles, including Miss Diamond of the South Newcomer 2012, Miss International Vogue 2017, and Miss Black Universe 2017. She was announced as being one of fifteen contestants competing in season eleven of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2019, and was eventually placed joint 3rd. Later that year she was a part of the rotating cast for RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 11 Tour. In 2020 she was a featured cast member of the Digital Drag Fest, and in 2021 she was one of the contestants on season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
