Akira Ioane

Akira Ioane is a New Zealand rugby union player recognized for his contributions to both Super Rugby teams and international sevens and fifteen-a-side competitions. After making his debut with the New Zealand Sevens in 2014, Akira Ioane quickly established himself as a formidable force in international rugby. Ioane contributed to the team’s 12th World Series title and earned a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The same year, he secured a professional contract with the Blues for the 2015 Super Rugby season, marking a significant step in his transition to the fifteen-a-side format.
