Albane Valenzuela is a remarkable Swiss professional golfer whose journey reflects a blend of diverse cultural influences and exceptional talent. Born in New York City to a Mexican father and a French mother, she moved to Mexico at a young age before settling in Switzerland, where she became a citizen at 14. Valenzuela’s golfing prowess emerged early, nurtured by a family passionate about the sport, leading her to compete at the European Championship just a week after gaining her Swiss citizenship.

Her amateur career was marked by significant achievements, including low amateur honors at the 2016 ANA Inspiration and participation in the 2016 Summer Olympics. Valenzuela’s impressive performances continued with two top-5 finishes on the Ladies European Tour and reaching the finals of the U.S. Women’s Amateur in 2017 and 2019. Her dedication to both academics and athletics shone through during her time at Stanford University, where she was named Pac-12 Player of the Year and graduated with a degree in political science.

Turning professional in late 2019, Valenzuela quickly made her mark by earning her LPGA Tour card and representing Switzerland in three Olympic Games.
