Alberto Ammann is a Spanish and Argentinian actor who has appeared in shows worldwide. As well as working on solely Spanish-speaking productions, Ammann has also worked on mainstream American shows such as Narcos. He has also won awards for his impressive performances.
Ammann’s career took off in 2009 when he starred in the movie, Cell 211, known in Spain as Celda 211. The film followed the story of a prison riot and two men on opposing sides of it. It was well received by critics and sent Ammann’s career off to a flying start.
Ammann appeared in a number of other small roles before taking on the part of Pacho Herrera in Narcos. The character, based on a real life drug trafficker who associated with Pablo Escobar, was a challenging role, but Ammann portrayed him with ease over a two year span. He also played a role in National Geographic’s mini-series, Mars. Following this, he worked again with Netflix to create Apaches, an adaptation of a book by the same name, which saw his character returning home to take care of his disabled father.
Ammann’s career has been varied and exciting so far, but he has plenty left to offer. His fans, of which he has over sixty thousand on Instagram, are eagerly awaiting his next project, and he also keeps fans updated via his Twitter account. He currently has three upcoming projects for 2021.
