Alex Aust Holman became a sponsored athlete for Under Armour in 2013. She continues to be an ambassador for the brand, representing them as a professional lacrosse player and instructor.

Alex Aust Holman, born in Sterling, Virginia, established an impactful career in women’s lacrosse. She attended Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, where she was a distinguished three-sport athlete in field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball from 2005 to 2009. During her junior year, she received First Team All-American honors and was part of the Capital Lacrosse Club. She also earned All-ISL First Team, All-MET honorable mention, all-county, and All-Gazette First Team accolades. As a senior, Aust Holman was recognized as All-Gazette in both field hockey and basketball, along with All-ISL, All-Met second team, All-Gazette, Under Armour All-American, and squad MVP in lacrosse. She ultimately chose to pursue lacrosse at the collegiate level, enrolling at the University of Maryland.
Her collegiate career at the University of Maryland from 2010 to 2013 was marked by consistent team success and individual achievement. In each of her four seasons, the Maryland Terrapins secured an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship. As a freshman in 2010, she contributed to an NCAA national championship win. Throughout her time at Maryland, she set a tournament record for assists (13) and points (17) during the 2012 ACC tournament. In 2013, she achieved a career-high of five goals in a single game against Virginia and concluded her senior year as a Tewaaraton Award finalist, Synapse Sport National Attacker of the Year, and an IWLCA First Team All-American. She graduated with 132 career assists, placing her third in program history, and 275 points, ranking her sixth all-time among Terrapins female lacrosse players.
Following her collegiate career, Aust Holman transitioned into professional play and coaching. She was named to the US national team in 2014, earning a Gold medal in the 2017 World Cup. In 2016, she was selected by the Baltimore Ride in the inaugural United Women’s Lacrosse League Draft. She later played for Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse from 2021 to 2023 before joining the Maryland Charm as their first announced player for the Women’s Lacrosse League’s inaugural 2025 season. Beyond playing, she became a volunteer assistant coach for Maryland in 2023, subsequently becoming the director of player development in 2024, and an assistant coach the following season. She is also the director of Finish Line Lacrosse, an organization dedicated to running lacrosse camps and clinics nationwide for aspiring female players.
