Alex Beresford’s career as a prominent television personality and weather presenter for ITV began to rise after he transitioned into a weather presenter role in 2005. His dedication quickly led to him presenting the national ITV Weather starting in November 2007. Beresford initially joined ITV in August 2004 as a teleprompter operator for ‘The West Tonight’, before retraining. Following the restructuring of ITV West, he moved to ‘The West Country Tonight’ on ITV West Country in February 2009.
Throughout his tenure at ITV, he has also contributed to episodes of the esteemed ‘ITV Tonight’ programme, with appearances in 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2020, further demonstrating his range in factual programming and his ability to contribute across multiple formats for the network.
