Alex Caruso has established himself as a versatile guard known for his defensive prowess and impactful presence on championship-winning teams. After becoming the Texas A&M Aggies’ all-time leader in assists with 649 and steals with 276 during his four-year collegiate career, Alex Caruso went on to establish himself as a versatile guard known for his defensive prowess and impactful presence on championship-winning teams. After strong performances with the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2016 NBA Summer League, and later with the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA Development League, where he was named Second-team All-NBA G League in 2018, Caruso signed the Los Angeles Lakers’ first two-way contract in 2017 after leading their Summer League team to a championship. He made his official NBA debut with the Lakers on October 19, 2017.

Caruso was instrumental in the Thunder’s second NBA Championship win in 2025, serving as a key player off the bench during the NBA Finals, where he averaged 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds.
