Ally Love, raised in Miami, Florida, began her career with a strong foundation in dance. She graduated from New World School of the Arts high school, specializing in dance, before pursuing higher education at Fordham University. At Fordham, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance while minoring in theology, concurrently enrolling in their partner program with the Alvin Ailey School for dance. Her early physical resilience was notable; after a childhood car accident, she was told she might not walk normally again but made a full recovery. This early experience contributed to her later focus on wellness and motivation.
Love’s professional career includes performing as a dancer for the New York Knicks and touring with contemporary ballet companies across North America. She also pursued a modeling career, signing with Women360 Management / Supreme and appearing in campaigns for brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Reebok, Adidas, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Doritos, and Under Armour. In 2012, she became the in-arena host for the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center, a role that involves interviewing players, fans, and coaches during games and appearing on the stadium jumbotron. This position proved to be a turning point, as her work for the Nets and Adidas drew the attention of Peloton scouts, leading to her hiring as an instructor in 2017 after a 15-minute audition.
Beyond her roles with Peloton and the Brooklyn Nets, Love established Love Squad, a fitness and lifestyle website aimed at empowering women in business, fitness, and life. This platform offers content on sports, entertainment, beauty, and fitness, and organizes live events in New York City, including panel discussions and group workouts. She holds certifications as a Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and as a NASM certified trainer. In 2023, Love expanded her media presence by hosting the Netflix competition reality show “Dance 100” and in August 2025, she welcomed her first child, a son, revealing her pregnancy post-birth.
