Alyssa Bergamini is a journalist, sports broadcaster, and news personality. A Chicagoland native, she cultivated her passion for sports early on, attending Marist High School in Chicago before pursuing higher education at the University of Iowa. There, she majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Spanish, laying the foundation for her career in media. Her professional journey began with the Chicago White Sox organization in 2013, initially as part of the Pride Crew.
Her career with the White Sox progressed steadily. In 2017, she transitioned to an on-field emcee role, connecting directly with fans and enhancing the in-game experience. A significant milestone in her career came in September 2024 when she became the first female Public Address Announcer for the Chicago White Sox. Beyond her work with the White Sox, Bergamini’s broadcasting portfolio includes radio commentary for the Chicago Bulls on “670 The Score” alongside Chuck Swirsky and Bill Wennington. She has also contributed her talents to various media outlets such as NBC Sports Chicago, Fox Sports, Stadium, and WCIU, and previously served as the In-Arena Host for the Chicago Wolves and Schaumburg Boomers.
