Amber Theoharis is an American sports broadcaster, radio host, anchor and journalist. She became a household name in this arena in 2012, when she became a star host on NFL Total Access, which aired on the NFL network. Hailing from Salisbury, Maryland, Theoharis was educated at the prestigious University of Maryland. Her interest in sports and aptitude for radio secured her her first job at WBOC News in Maryland. After this, her career developed rapidly, and she had roles at WJZ-FM and WRC-TV. The latter was defining in her pursuit of a career as a sports broadcaster. Her first big break was with the Washington-based Mid-Atlantic Sports Market, where she worked for four seasons. She covered top teams such as the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, in a reporting capacity. She did similar for the MLB Network, as a live correspondent.
Theoharis has received many accolades and awards for her style of incisive presenting, making her one of the most sought-after sportscasters in the business.
