Amy Lennox is a Scottish actress known for her extensive musical theatre work and notable television appearances, bringing critically acclaimed performances to a wide range of productions. After graduating from the esteemed Guildford School of Acting, Amy Lennox went on to originate the role of Margot in the original West End cast of Legally Blonde in 2009, where she also served as the understudy for the lead role of Elle Woods. Her early stage career further solidified with her performance in Rupert Goolds Decade for Headlong Theatre in 2011, and originating the role of Velcro in the world premiere and first fully staged production of Soho Cinders between 2011 and 2012. Lennox also captivated audiences as Doralee Rhodes in the UK touring production of 9 to 5 in 2012.
Lennox successfully transitioned into prominent television roles, joining the cast of Holby City in January 2019 as CT surgeon Chloe Godard. She maintained this significant role across three series until 2021, appearing in over 100 episodes. Her television presence also includes her performance as Sally McColl in two episodes of Shetland in 2018 and as Kayleigh Marshall in Casualty in 2017. Additionally, Lennox has lent her distinctive voice to several video game titles, including Arknights (2019) as Ch’en and Zima, Bravely Default II (2021) as Lily, and Another Eden (2022) as Daisy.
In 2022, Lennox made a triumphant return to musical theatre, taking on the iconic role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre. Her upcoming theatrical engagements include playing Dorothy in Opening Night at the Gielgud Theatre in 2024. Expanding her reach into major screen productions, she is also cast as Clotilde in the highly anticipated Blade Runner 2099, which is currently in post-production and slated for release in 2026.
