Angela Sarafyan

Angela Sarafyan, known for her powerful portrayal of Clementine Pennyfeather in HBO’s critically acclaimed science-fiction series Westworld from 2016 to 2022, earned a nomination at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2017 for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Her impactful career began in 2000 with a role in the CBS legal drama Judging Amy and a cameo in Britney Spears’ music video ‘Stronger.’ She quickly followed this with guest appearances in television series including Buffy the Vampire Slayer and secured a role in the 2002 television film Paranormal Girl. Sarafyan made her uncredited film debut in the 2004 comedy-drama The Last Run. Sarafyan continued to expand her television presence with roles in prominent series such as The Shield, 24, CSI: NY, and The Mentalist.

During her tenure on Westworld, Sarafyan diversified her portfolio with appearances in other major productions. She starred in the historical drama The Promise (2016) and held a supporting role in the Netflix biographical thriller Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019). Further demonstrating her versatility, she took a lead role in the independent film We Are Boats (2018). Her recent work includes a role in the science-fiction thriller Reminiscence (2021).

Looking ahead, Sarafyan is set to appear in several highly anticipated projects. She will be seen in the upcoming action thriller G20 (2025) alongside Academy Award-winner Viola Davis. Additionally, she holds a cameo as Lara, Superman’s mother, in the 2025 DC Universe film Superman. Sarafyan is also expanding her creative roles, serving as an executive producer and star in the upcoming film Ponchik.
