Angela Stanford is a distinguished American professional golfer who has made significant contributions to the sport, currently competing on the LPGA Tour. Raised in Saginaw, Texas, she showcased her talent early on by winning the Fort Worth Girls Championship four times from 1993 to 1996, along with the Texas State 4A High School Championship and the PING Texas State Junior Championship in 1996. After graduating from Boswell High School, she attended Texas Christian University (TCU), where she excelled as a collegiate golfer, winning nine tournaments and earning accolades such as four-time All-American and WAC Player of the Year in 1999.
Stanford turned professional in 2000 after a successful amateur career, including being a member of the U.S. Curtis Cup team.
