Annabel Crabb is an ABC writer and presenter who has covered Australian politics for nearly 25 years as a news reporter and columnist, offering insights into political processes and societal impacts. After beginning her journalism career with a cadetship at The Advertiser in 1997, Annabel Crabb moved to its Canberra bureau by 1999, covering state and federal politics, then joined The Age in 2000 as a political columnist. Crabb expanded internationally as London correspondent for the Sunday Age and The Sun-Herald, publishing her debut book, Losing It: The Inside Story of the Labor Party in Opposition, in 2005. Returning to Australia in 2007 as a senior writer for The Sydney Morning Herald and an ABC federal election commentator, Crabb joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in November 2009 as its chief online political writer and a presenter for The Drum.
Crabb is the creator and presenter of the documentary series Ms Represented, offering insights into women in Australian politics, and also serves as a presenter and writer for Australia Talks. She co-hosts the series Tomorrow Tonight, which returned for a new series in 2021.
