Anthony Ingruber

Anthony Ingruber, born on February 5, 1990, is a Dutch-Australian voice and screen actor whose career gained notable attention through his popular YouTube channel, where he showcased various impressions. His upbringing spanned multiple countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Canada. In Canada, he attended a drama school, further developing his acting skills. Early in his career, Ingruber took on supporting roles in television series starting in 2006. A significant early milestone involved working at Weta Workshop in New Zealand, where he contributed production work to the Academy Award-winning film “Avatar” in 2009, specifically on props like guns, masks, and breathing equipment.

Ingruber’s acting career progressed with roles in industrial, independent, and feature films. He notably played Young William Jones, the younger version of Harrison Ford’s character, in the 2015 film “The Age of Adaline,” acting alongside Harrison Ford and Blake Lively. His resemblance to a young Harrison Ford, coupled with his impressionistic abilities, gained him considerable attention online and was instrumental in securing this role. In the voice-acting realm, Ingruber is recognized for his portrayal of ‘John Doe’ and ‘The Joker’ in “Batman: The Telltale Series” (2016) and “Batman: The Enemy Within” (2017).

Further demonstrating his versatility, Ingruber served as a body double for Harrison Ford’s de-aged Indiana Jones in the 1944-set opening sequence of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” (2023), in addition to a cameo role as a hotel guest. His voice work extends to various video games, including ‘Johnny Quick’ in “Lego DC Super-Villains” (2018), ‘HADES’ in “Horizon Forbidden West” (2022), and ‘Leon De Vries’ in “Amnesia: Rebirth” (2020). He was nominated by Beyond the Voice Actor for ‘Breakthrough Voice Actor of the Year’ and ‘Best Male Vocal Performance in a Video Game’ in 2018.
