Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte was born on July 31, 1969, in Lecce, Italy. He began his football career at his hometown club Lecce, making his Serie A debut at the age of 16 in 1986. After recovering from a tibia fracture in 1987, he became a key player for Lecce, scoring his first Serie A goal in 1989. In 1991, he joined Juventus, where he spent 13 seasons, becoming a highly decorated and influential midfielder. Conte captained Juventus from 1996 until 2001, winning five Serie A titles, one Coppa Italia, one UEFA Champions League, and one UEFA Cup. He also represented the Italy national team, participating in the 1994 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000, where Italy finished as runners-up in both tournaments.

Conte transitioned into management in 2006, starting with Serie B side Arezzo. He later led Bari to a Serie B title in the 2008-09 season, securing promotion to Serie A. His success continued with Siena, guiding them to promotion back to Serie A in 2011. He returned to Juventus as head coach in 2011, where he implemented an innovative 3-5-2 formation and won three consecutive Serie A titles from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Conte managed the Italy national team, leading them to the quarter-finals of UEFA Euro 2016. He then moved to Chelsea in 2016, winning the Premier League title in his first season and the FA Cup in his second.

In 2019, Conte took charge of Inter Milan, leading them to their first Serie A title in eleven years during the 2020-21 season, ending Juventus’ dominant run. He joined Tottenham Hotspur in November 2021, departing in March 2023. In June 2024, Conte was appointed as the head coach of Napoli. In his inaugural season with Napoli, he led the club to their fourth Scudetto on May 23, 2025, marking his fifth Serie A championship as a coach and making him the first manager to win the Italian league with three different clubs.
