Aras Bulut İynemli was born on August 25, 1990, in Istanbul, Turkey. He is the younger brother of actor Orçun İynemli and television host/singer Yeşim İynemli, with several other relatives also involved in acting. İynemli initially embarked on a different academic path, studying Aeronautical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. His early career involved appearances in commercial advertisements. In 2010, he secured a role in the drama series “Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki” (As Time Goes by), a project that garnered international success and marked a turning point in his career. He received the Antalya Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011 for this role.
Following his initial acting success, İynemli continued to build his filmography. In 2013, he appeared in the Azerbaijani-Turkish film “Mahmut and Meryem” and also portrayed a disabled character in “Tamam mıyız?”. The same year, he joined the cast of the historical drama “Muhteşem Yüzyıl” (Magnificent Century) as Şehzade Bayezid, appearing in 36 episodes. His career progressed with leading roles in significant television productions. In 2015, he starred in “Maral: En Güzel Hikayem” alongside Hazal Kaya. From 2016 to 2017, he played the dual role of Umut Yılmaz/Mert Karadağ in “İçerde” (Insider). This was followed by his portrayal of Yamaç Koçovalı in the widely popular series “Çukur” (The Pit) from 2017 to 2021, spanning 132 episodes.
In 2018, İynemli won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Actor for his performance in “Çukur.” A notable achievement in his film career came in 2019 with the film “7. Koğuştaki Mucize” (Miracle in Cell No. 7), where he played a mentally ill father. The film achieved record-breaking viewership in Turkey and later received international acclaim after its release on Netflix, particularly in France and Latin America. His recent work includes portraying Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the 2023 film “Atatürk 1881 – 1919” and its 2024 continuation, which earned him a Turkish Film Critics Association Award nomination for Best Actor. Beyond acting, İynemli has engaged in various advertising campaigns, serving as a brand ambassador for multiple companies.
