Arj Barker

Arj Barker was born on August 12, 1974, in San Francisco, California, USA. He embarked on a career in entertainment, primarily as a comedian, actor, and writer. His early career included performances in television series such as “Shooting the Past” in 1999, where he played Garnett across three episodes, and appearing as R.T. Fulton in six episodes of “The 11 O’Clock Show” in the same year. These initial roles provided a foundation for his subsequent work in both acting and comedy, establishing his presence in the industry. He later gained wider recognition for his unique observational and satirical comedy style, which he has showcased globally.

A significant milestone in Barker’s acting career was his role as Dave in the acclaimed TV series “Flight of the Conchords,” for which he appeared in 20 episodes between 2007 and 2009. He also showcased his writing talents early on, contributing to “Comedy Central Presents” with two episodes between 2000 and 2006, and later writing for “Just for Laughs” in 2004 and 2009.
