Ashley Benson gained initial recognition for her role as Abigail Deveraux in the daytime soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives’ from 2004 to 2007. Early in her career, Benson secured roles in over 35 commercials and theatrical productions, laying a strong foundation. She made her feature film debut in the 2004 comedy ’13 Going on 30′ and later starred as Carson in ‘Bring It On: In It to Win It’ (2007). Her early television work included ‘Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal’ (2008) and ‘Eastwick’ (2009).
Benson also became the face of eveningwear designer Faviana in 2013 and appeared as Lady Lisa in ‘Pixels’ (2015) and in ‘Elvis & Nixon’ (2016). In 2018, she took on the role of Roxie Rotten in the music drama film ‘Her Smell,’ where she performed her own vocals for the soundtrack. Benson continued her presence in film into the 2020s, taking on a leading role in ‘Private Property’ (2022). She also collaborated with G-Eazy in 2020 on a cover of Radiohead’s ‘Creep,’ broadening her artistic scope.
She then starred in ‘Mob Land’ (2023). Her recent television work includes portraying Cara Parker in the series ‘Wilderness’ (2023). In 2022, Benson starred in and produced the thriller ‘Alone at Night,’ showcasing her expanded involvement behind the camera. Her latest film engagement is a starring role in ‘McVeigh’ (2024), further solidifying her active and diverse career trajectory in the industry.
