Asif Ali

Asif Ali was born on February 4, 1986, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Indian immigrant parents. He began his professional career in improvisation comedy in Chicago. Ali later moved to Los Angeles, where he co-founded Goatface, a sketch comedy group established in 2011, alongside Fahim Anwar, Aristotle Athari, and Hasan Minhaj. His early acting work included guest appearances in television shows such as “Up All Night,” “NCIS,” and “Modern Family,” providing him with his initial industry experience. These roles laid the groundwork for his subsequent career progression in both comedy and acting.

Ali’s career gained significant momentum in January 2015 when he was cast as a series regular in the TBS sitcom “Wrecked,” portraying the character Pack Hara for 30 episodes. This role marked a turning point, increasing his visibility and leading to further opportunities in both film and television. In 2020, he secured roles in high-profile productions, including Disney+’s “The Mandalorian” (2019) and “WandaVision” (2021). His film work expanded with his involvement in Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling” (2022) and the comedy film “Easter Sunday” (2022). He also contributed his voice talents to the video game “Hogwarts Legacy” (2023) and the Netflix animated series “Agent Elvis” (2023).
