Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Beau Bailey developed an early connection to storytelling through his experiences hunting and fishing. His songwriting journey began at the age of 15 when he started writing and playing guitar. These foundational years in Louisiana shaped the narrative style evident in his later musical endeavors. In January 2020, Bailey moved to Nashville, Tennessee, with his pop-rock band, The Revelries. The band secured a record deal with UMG Nashville and released a full-length album, touring with artists such as Moon Taxi, Better Than Ezra, Betcha, and Hippie Sabotage. The band’s music also received placements on various television and web outlets, including NHL Network, NBC, NBCSN, and Canadian TVA sport.
After The Revelries disbanded in January 2022 due to health-related challenges, Bailey concentrated on refining his songwriting craft as a solo artist. This strategic shift led to significant achievements in a short period. Over the past year, his independent songwriting efforts resulted in 16 cuts for artists across country and pop genres, including Graham Barham, Kasey Tyndall, Mary Jo Young, Eddie And The Getaway, and Lecade. His songs have accumulated over 5 million streams and have gained attention from major label artists, leading to multiple holds with artists such as Thomas Rhett, Bailey Zimmerman, and Mary Jo Young. His debut solo single, “She’s Gonna Run,” released shortly after the band’s dissolution, garnered over 250,000 streams within its first three months.
Bailey’s career progression demonstrates his adaptability and commitment to musical expression. His dedication to songwriting culminated in a signing with Ashley Gorley’s Tape Room Music in partnership with Red Light Management in 2023. This partnership combines his songwriting skills with established artist development and management expertise. He continues to collaborate closely with emerging artists like Hudson Westbrook and Graham Barham, and his songs have been recorded by prominent artists such as Kane Brown, Cole Swindell, Parmalee, HARDY, and Blake Shelton, with “Stay Country or Die Tryin'” and “Favorite Country Song” impacting country radio. His work has established him as a notable figure in the Nashville songwriting community.
