Ben Lamb

Ben Lamb was born on January 24, 1989, in Exeter, Devon, England, UK. He pursued his education at Dragon School in Oxford and Eton College in Berkshire, where he was a music scholar. After completing his studies, Lamb attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), graduating in 2010. His professional career began in opera before he joined the National Youth Theatre.

Lamb established his presence in both film and television. In 2013, he gained recognition for his portrayal of Anthony Rivers in the TV miniseries production of ‘The White Queen’. He then transitioned into feature films, taking on the role of Edward in the 2014 film ‘Divergent’. His career further progressed with his appearance as Owen Case in ‘Now You See Me 2’ in 2016. A notable turning point in his career was his casting as Prince Richard in Netflix’s ‘A Christmas Prince’ in 2017, a role he reprised in its sequels, ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding’ (2018) and ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’ (2019).

Beyond his work in cinema and television, Lamb has also maintained a career in theatre. He has performed in significant productions such as playing Lorenzo in Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’ at Shakespeare’s Globe and Malcolm in the Young Vic’s production of ‘Macbeth’. More recently, he joined the cast of ‘The Gilded Age’ as the Duke of Buckingham, appearing in episodes from 2023 to 2025.
