Bethany Brown is a Canadian actress, director, and composer known for her diverse roles across film, television, and stage, alongside her musical contributions to various projects. After receiving a 2020 Jessie Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the play ‘Disgraced,’ Bethany Brown established herself as a versatile talent across acting, directing, and composing. Her television career gained momentum with recurring roles in The CW’s ‘The Flash’ (2018) and ‘The 100’ (2019), before landing a significant recurring role on ABC’s acclaimed series ‘The Good Doctor’ from 2020 to 2024. In film, she appeared in the holiday feature ‘Operation Christmas Drop’ (2020).

Her recent television guest appearances include The CW’s ‘Wild Cards’ (2024). In 2024, Brown expanded her creative footprint by directing, producing, and composing music for her short film, ‘Meet Me en Rêve.’ This film quickly garnered significant recognition, winning Best Indie Short Film at the Los Angeles Movie and Music Video Awards, and securing Best LGBTQ Short at both the Paris International Short Film Festival and the Markham International Film Festival. ‘Meet Me en Rêve’ also received multiple nominations at the Seattle Film Festival and the Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival in New York for categories including Best LGBTQ Short and Best Original Song.
