Bleona launched her professional music career with her debut single, ‘Lermëni (Let Me Be Free),’ in 1996, followed by her first album, ‘Kam Qejfin Tim,’ the subsequent year. This period included her first major tour, consisting of 25 summer shows across Switzerland and Germany in 1997. She released four more albums between 1998 and 2002, all charting in southeastern Europe, and headlined the Humanitarian Tour for the People of Kosovo in 1999. Her 2003 album, ‘Ti Nuk Di As Me Ma Lyp,’ sold an impressive 400,000 copies, and her song ‘S’dua’ received the Television Prize at the Kënga Magjike festival in 2005.
Her versatility also encompassed acting, with an appearance in Steven Seagals TV series ‘True Justice’ that year. Musically, her 2013 single, ‘Take It Like a Man,’ reached number 7 on the UK club charts, and ‘Take You Over’ peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in 2015. Bleona broadened her entertainment portfolio, starring in Bravos reality series ‘Euros of Hollywood’ in 2014 and serving as a judge on ‘X Factor Albania’ in 2015. She made a significant foray into film, appearing in ‘Dead Trigger’ (2017) alongside Dolph Lundgren and ‘211’ (2018) with Nicolas Cage.
