With a huge physique and a voice to match, bodybuilder Bob Cicherillo has successfully transitioned from formidable competitor to in-demand host. With a vast amount of bodybuilding knowledge and experience which included winning the 2006 master’s Pro World competition, he has now found his niche in the media side of the sport. Cicherillo is the co-host of podcast and radio show Pro Bodybuilding Weekly. He has featured in many magazine and fitness articles and graced the cover of Flex magazine. Cicherillo has also appeared in Hollywood movies including Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story alongside Ben Stiller and on television shows including sitcom Malcolm in the Middle and as the original “Titan” on the American Gladiators television series.
Cicherillo entered Natural America – his first bodybuilding competition – back in 1981, earning fourth place in the teen tall class. Six years later he won the heavyweight class division at his first National Physique Committee event, the 1987 NPC Junior Nationals, and he went on to regularly compete at top international bodybuilding competitions including Mr. Olympia in 2001.
After winning the 2006 Masters in New York he qualified again for Olympia, but decided not to compete and chose instead to re-focus his career as the emcee/host of the various Olympia competitions. Naturally talented in his new media role, Cicheillo was soon in great demand and has established himself as the “The Voice of Bodybuilding”.
