Bradley Charles Cooper was born on January 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His early life exposed him to the arts, inspiring an acting career despite his parents’ initial preference for finance. He pursued higher education, graduating from the Honors English program at Georgetown University in 1997, and then enrolling in the Master of Fine Arts program at the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University in New York City. During his studies, Cooper quickly began his professional career, appearing in television series such as “Sex and the City” (1998) and “The Beat” (2000). He also hosted “Treks in a Wild World” for the Discovery Channel, an experience that took him to various global locations.
Cooper’s early film roles included “Wet Hot American Summer” (2001) and “Changing Lanes” (2002). His career gained significant momentum with supporting roles in box office successes like “Wedding Crashers” (2005). The year 2009 marked a major turning point with his starring role in the critically and commercially successful comedy, “The Hangover,” which further solidified his presence in Hollywood. This breakthrough was followed by leading roles in films such as “Limitless” (2011) and “The Place Beyond the Pines” (2012).
