Brandon Belt

Brandon Belt, a two-time World Series Champion, made his MLB debut with the San Francisco Giants on March 31, 2011, establishing himself as a distinguished first baseman throughout his 12 seasons with the team. Following his selection by the San Francisco Giants in the fifth round of the 2009 MLB draft, Belt quickly progressed through the minor league system, earning recognition as a Minor League All-Star by Baseball America and an MiLB Organization All-Star in 2010. This success followed a standout junior season at the University of Texas in 2009, where he batted .323 with eight home runs and 43 RBI, leading the team to the College World Series finals. During his tenure with the San Francisco Giants from 2011 to 2022, Belt was an integral part of their World Series championship teams in 2012 and 2014.

In his inaugural season with the Blue Jays, he played 103 games, where he maintained a .254 batting average and contributed 19 home runs. This transition marked a new chapter in his impactful career in Major League Baseball, bringing his veteran presence and consistent performance to the American League. Beyond his on-field accomplishments, Brandon Belt is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors. He hosts the annual Brandon Belt 100K Grand Slam charity fishing tournament, which is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for The Father’s Heart of Brazil orphanage.
