Chris Caldovino

Chris Caldovino was born in Brooklyn, New York. He commenced his acting education at The Gene Frankel Theatre in New York City, subsequently relocating to Los Angeles to continue his training at Playhouse West under Jeff Goldblum. During this period, he also studied under Robert D’Avanzo at The Tamarind Theater, where he participated in various stage productions. Caldovino began building his film and television work through these early years of dedicated study and performance, establishing a foundation for his career.

In 2004, Caldovino secured the recurring role of Billy Leotardo in HBO’s acclaimed series “The Sopranos”. This role marked a significant point in his career development, leading to additional opportunities in television and film projects. His subsequent work included appearances in FOX’s “The Good Guys” in 2010 and the film “Brooklyn Rules” in 2007. Further expanding his filmography, Caldovino was featured in the Martin Scorsese-directed, Oscar-nominated film “The Wolf of Wall Street” in 2013, written by Terence Winter.

Caldovino’s career progression continued with a three-season engagement as Tonino Sandrelli on HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” from 2012 to 2014, contributing to the cast’s Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series. More recently, he has held guest-starring roles on network television series such as “Castle” (2015), “The Haves and the Have Nots” (2018), and “Tommy” (2020), which starred Edie Falco. In 2021, he appeared in the mob/comedy film “Made in Chinatown” alongside other “Sopranos” alumni and guest-starred in season ten of “American Horror Story”. He currently holds a series regular role as ‘Goodie Carangi’ on the Paramount+ series “Tulsa King” since 2022.
