He was involved in two operas at the New Rochelle Opera House by age four and made his Off-Broadway debut in “Desire” at eight. His family later relocated to Florida, where he continued to cultivate his acting skills through performances in local productions such as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Initially pursuing a competitive baseball career for 14 years, Larracuente successfully transitioned his discipline and dedication to acting, a career shift that began with commercial work in Florida.
Larracuente’s professional career gained significant traction when he secured a three-year recurring role as Ben Rayburn in the television drama “Bloodline” (2015-2017) through an open casting call on Facebook. This marked a turning point, solidifying his commitment to acting. Following this, he moved to Los Angeles, where his career continued to advance with notable roles, including Jeff Atkins in Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why” (2017-2018) for 7 episodes, and Mike in the Netflix film “Bright” (2017). His performance as Emilio Acosta in Freeform’s “Party of Five” (2020) further expanded his reach, addressing social issues such as immigration.
