Brant Daugherty

Brant David Daugherty was born on August 20, 1985, in Mason, Ohio. He demonstrated an early interest in performance, participating in school plays at William Mason High School. After graduating in 2004, he pursued a film degree from Columbia College Chicago. In 2008, he relocated to Los Angeles to begin his professional acting career. His early work included a recurring role as Thomas Pearson in the web series ‘Private’ in 2009.

Daugherty gained recognition for his recurring role as Noel Kahn in the teen drama television series ‘Pretty Little Liars’, appearing in 27 episodes between 2010 and 2016. Concurrently, he took on the role of Brian in the NBC daytime drama ‘Days of Our Lives’ for 14 episodes in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, he expanded his television work with a recurring role as Lt. Patrick Clarke in nine episodes of Lifetime Network’s ‘Army Wives’. That same year, he participated in Season 17 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, finishing in seventh place with professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd. His film credits include ‘The Starving Games’ (2013) and a credited role in the Charlie Sheen FX series ‘Anger Management’ in 2014.

His career continued to develop with significant film roles, notably as Luke Sawyer in ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ (2018). Daugherty has also become a prominent figure in Hallmark television movies, starring in titles such as ‘Mingle All the Way’ (2018), ‘Timeless Love’ (2019), ‘The Baker’s Son’ (2021), ‘A Royal Runaway Romance’ (2022), and ‘Joyeux Noel’ (2023). Beyond acting, he has taken on writing and producing roles for several projects, including ‘Alone in the Dark’ (2022) and ‘Joyeux Noel’ (2023). He married Kimberly Hidalgo in 2019 and they have two children.
