Brendan Hunt is an American actor, writer, and producer known for co-creating and starring in the hit Apple TV+ series, “Ted Lasso,” where he plays Coach Beard. He has also made significant contributions to various film, television, and comedy projects throughout his career, earning multiple awards and nominations. After establishing himself as a versatile writer and performer with the renowned Boom Chicago comedy troupe in Amsterdam from 1998 to 2008, Brendan Hunt went on to become an acclaimed actor, writer, and producer. During his decade with Boom Chicago, Hunt served as the head writer for Comedy Central News (CCN) and co-wrote and co-starred in two-man shows, Iconic Yanks with Seth Meyers and Here Comes the Neighborhood with Jordan Peele, both performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
