Brian Propp is a former NHL All-Star who now leverages his extensive experience in professional ice hockey for various business and community engagements. After being drafted 14th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft, Brian Propp embarked on a distinguished 15-season career in the National Hockey League, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic offensive force. Prior to his NHL entry, Propp demonstrated exceptional talent in junior hockey, setting a scoring record with 168 points in 57 games for the Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League during the 1975-76 season, earning him both SJHL Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player honors in 1976. He continued his dominance with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League, where he secured two league scoring titles and accumulated 194 points (94 goals, 100 assists) in 71 games in the 1978-79 season, along with being named WHL Rookie of the Year (Jim Piggott Trophy) in 1977 and to the WHL First All-Star Team in 1978 and 1979.
Following his retirement from professional play, Propp has remained actively involved in the hockey community and business sector. He serves as an ambassador for the Philadelphia Flyers, engaging in public speaking and leveraging his extensive experience in professional sports. His post-playing career also includes a role as Director of Strategic Relationships for Wolf Commercial Real Estate. His remarkable career achievements have been recognized with inductions into the Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame (1999), the Saskatchewan Provincial Hall of Fame (2003), the Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame (2014), and the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame (2014).
