Brooke Anderson is an accomplished entertainment journalist, currently serving as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. Previously, she co-hosted The Insider, bringing her extensive experience and charismatic presence to the popular show. Anderson began her illustrious career with CNN in July 2000, based in the network’s Los Angeles bureau. During her tenure at CNN, she wore many hats, including culture and entertainment anchor and producer, as well as co-host for Showbiz Tonight on HLN.
A proud graduate of the University of Georgia’s Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, Anderson earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with honors in 2000. She is also a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. Her career has seen her cover some of the most significant events in entertainment, from the Academy Awards, Emmys, and Golden Globes to the Sundance Film Festival and New York City’s Fall Fashion Week. Anderson’s reporting has also extended to major sporting events like the NBA All-Star Weekend and music festivals such as Atlanta’s Music Midtown.
In recognition of her volunteer work, Anderson received the Daily Point of Light Award from President George W. Bush in February 2003. Her versatility and dedication to her craft were highlighted when she guest-starred on the popular soap opera Days of Our Lives in January 2012, playing a reporter.
Anderson is married to James Arthur Walker III, and they share three children: two daughters and a son. Her dynamic career and personal life showcase her as a dedicated professional and loving family woman.
