The incredibly gifted powerhouse vocalist Brooke Simpson is a Native American pop singer/songwriter, and stage actress. She was most famously a finalist on Season 13 of NBC’s hit reality TV talent show The Voice, as well as a Grand-finalist on Season 16 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
A full-blooded member of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe, Simpson grew up in North Carolina where her parents were evangelists. She sang with her family in church from the age of seven, and dedicated her life to music. She successfully auditioning for The Voice’s 13th season in 2017, and under coach Miley Cyrus, went all the way to finals, ending her run in third place. In 2018 Republic Records issued a collection of studio recordings of her The Voice performances. She continued to build an ever-growing fanbase, and went on to work with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Sia, and Taboo (of The Black Eyed Peas). She has released multiple singles, including Little Bit Crazy, Stick Like Honey, and So Tired, and in 2021 she returned to TV making it as a Grand-finalist in Season of America’s Got Talent. The following year she made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award winning musical 1776.
