Bryant Jennings is a professional boxer from the United States. In 2015, he challenged for the unified world heavyweight titles as well as the WBA interim heavyweight belt. Former world champion Siarhei Liakhovich, as well as former world championship challengers Mike Perez and Artur Szpilka, are among Jennings’ significant victories.
On February 26, 2010, Jennings made his professional debut. In four rounds, he defeated Zeferino Albino by unanimous decision. He went on to knock out Jon Bolden in three rounds before rematching Albino on April 30 and knocking him out in the opening round. In the same year, he also defeated Bernell Stewart and Randy Smith.
On April 25, 2015, Jennings fought Wladimir Klitschko for the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight belts at Madison Square Garden. Klitschko won the fight by unanimous decision, with two judges scoring it 116–111 and the final judge scoring it 118–109, thanks to Klitscho’s efficient use of his jab and hard right cross in holding Jennings at bay. Klitschko stated after the fight that it was one of his toughest contests in years. On August 18, 2018, Jennings fought Alexander Dimitrenko, a German heavyweight contender, in a twelve-round main event at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey and won via technical knockout in the ninth round.
