C. J. Mosley

Clint Mosley Jr., born on June 19, 1992, in Theodore, Alabama, established himself as a prominent athlete from an early age. His high school career at Theodore High School showcased his exceptional talent in football, basketball, and track. Over his high school tenure, Mosley recorded over 500 tackles, seven sacks, five fumble recoveries, and four interceptions. This performance earned him two consecutive ASWA 6A All-State selections and the Class 6A Lineman of the Year award. Recognized as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, he committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, where he continued to excel.
After a successful collegiate career at the University of Alabama, where he earned consensus All-American honors and the Butkus Award in 2013, Mosley was selected by the Baltimore Ravens as the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. During his five seasons with the Ravens (2014-2018), he became a five-time Pro Bowl selection and a five-time Second-team All-Pro. He started in all 77 games played for the Ravens, accumulating 579 combined tackles, 8.5 sacks, 9 interceptions, and one defensive touchdown. His impact extended to crucial playoff games, demonstrating leadership and consistent performance.
In 2019, Mosley signed a five-year, $85 million contract with the New York Jets. Despite facing injuries and opting out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to maintain a high level of play, earning another Pro Bowl selection in 2022. He finished his NFL career with 1,083 combined tackles, 12 sacks, 12 interceptions, and 3 defensive touchdowns before announcing his retirement on June 19, 2025. Following his retirement, Mosley co-founded Legacy Trust Sports Group with his long-time business partner, Brandon Wassel, marking his entry into the sports agency industry.
