Candice King

Candice King is an American actress, singer, and songwriter known for her significant roles in television and film. She is most recognized for her portrayal of Caroline Forbes in The CW’s ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and its spin-offs, and has also pursued a music career, releasing an album and touring as a backing vocalist for Miley Cyrus. After being cast as Caroline Forbes in The CW’s supernatural drama series ‘The Vampire Diaries’ in 2009, Candice King went on to achieve widespread critical and fan recognition, earning two coveted Teen Choice Awards for her nuanced portrayal of the character. King’s professional journey commenced in music, where she independently released her debut album, ‘It’s Always the Innocent Ones,’ in the United States in December 2006, co-writing nearly all of the album’s tracks.
