Caroline Clark

Caroline Archer Clark, also known as KK Clark, was born on June 28, 1990, in Palo Alto, California. She developed an early interest in water polo, attending Sacred Heart Preparatory School in Atherton, California, where she graduated in 2008. Her collegiate career continued at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she earned a degree in History in 2012. Her aunt, Marybeth Dorst, was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Women’s Swimming Team, and her uncle, Chris Dorst, is a two-time Olympian in water polo (1980 and 1984), establishing a family lineage in Olympic sports.

Clark’s career in water polo is marked by numerous international achievements. She was a key member of the United States Women’s National Water Polo Team, participating in significant tournaments globally. Her notable accomplishments include securing gold medals at the 2014 FINA World Cup, the 2014 and 2016 FINA World League Super Finals, and the 2015 Pan American Games. A significant milestone in her career was her participation in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, where she earned an Olympic gold medal with the U.S. team, solidifying her status as a top athlete in her sport.
