Cassandre Beaugrand

Cassandre Beaugrand has consistently demonstrated athletic excellence in triathlon, securing multiple championship titles and Olympic medals. After establishing herself as a formidable force in the triathlon world by earning multiple Junior European Cup and Championship medals between 2013 and 2014, Cassandre Beaugrand went on to secure a silver medal with the French Mixed Relay team at the 2014 World Championships in Hamburg and a second-place finish at the Junior World Championship in Edmonton. Following her junior successes, Beaugrand achieved her first WTS gold in Hamburg in 2018. That same year, she was instrumental in the French Mixed Relay team winning the World title and the European Championships, adding a U23 bronze medal on the Gold Coast.

Her consistent performance continued into 2019, contributing to the French team retaining their Mixed Relay world title and securing a gold medal at the Tokyo Test Event in August. Beaugrand secured a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the mixed relay event. The 2022 season marked a career-best, with her finishing 5th in the overall WTCS season rankings, highlighted by a gold at WTCS Leeds and a silver at WTCS Montreal. Further demonstrating her versatility, she won the first Super League Triathlon Championship Series event of the 2022 Season in London and set the Women’s Run Record at the Arena Games Triathlon London that year.

Shortly thereafter, she made history by becoming France’s first-ever World Champion, winning gold at the Championship Finals Torremolinos in 2024. This extraordinary feat solidified her status as the only female triathlete to win gold medals in the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships across the three major competitions. In recognition of her unparalleled accomplishments and contributions to sport, she was also honored with the Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2024.
