Chandler Riggs

Chandler Riggs is an American actor widely recognized for his role as Carl Grimes in The Walking Dead, who transitioned into film, direction, and music. After being cast as Carl Grimes in the AMC television series The Walking Dead in 2010, Chandler Riggs quickly became a central figure on the critically acclaimed show for eight seasons, concluding his main storyline in 2018. During his impactful tenure, Riggs earned significant acclaim, including three Saturn Awards for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series (2013, 2016, 2018), a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actor (2014), and a Satellite Award for Best Cast in a Television Series (2012). His character’s narrative arc was pivotal to the series’ success and established Riggs as a recognizable talent in television.

Riggs has also extended his career into production, co-owning Smooth Blend Films and Virtual Nexus, a VR nonprofit, where he notably produced ‘Neon Divide,’ a large-scale VR Roleplay project. In 2022, he made a memorable cameo as a Hilltop farmer in The Walking Dead series finale, reprising his iconic role for the show’s conclusion. His diverse talents led him to voice Superman/Clark Kent in the animated feature Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One in 2023, expanding his presence into the realm of voice acting and iconic superhero roles. Further solidifying his presence in film, Chandler Riggs portrayed Ben in the film Breakup Season in 2024.

The same year, he notably portrayed Peter Parker and also produced the fan film The Spider, highlighting his dual capacity as both an an actor and a creative force behind the camera.
